"Ceramics in the Ottawa Region - Céramique de la Région d'Ottawa"

Announcing a Brand New Marketing Tool. We believe it to be the first of its kind in the area - a full colour bilingual brochure detailing (among other things) the location, hours of operation and type of work produced by potters and ceramic artists in the Ottawa Region! In addition, there will be a full web duplication of the brochure and a link to your website.

We invite all of you who have studios that are open to the public to consider taking part in this year-round brochure. Many of you have been on weekend tour maps. You know they are a wonderful short-term tool for getting your name and work out in the public. This one is a year-round brochure which will be widely distributed in City kiosks, hotels, galleries, etc.

We are accepting applications from potters and ceramic artists from across the Ottawa Region. To qualify, you must:

• Reside within a 100km radius from downtown Ottawa
• Be actively working with clay, producing original high quality ceramics
• Have your own studio with a permanent display of work for sale
• Be open on a regular basis (specific hours or by appointment)

We encourage all of you to spread the word about this wonderful new marketing tool and to forward the necessary information and documents! Acceptance is on a first come first served basis so fill out the forms and send them with your fees immediately! Fees are incredibly low at $125 for this inaugural year. We are looking for a minimum of 18 participants so don't delay in sending in your application once you have read it through carefully. This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your market and welcome visitors to the Capital Region into your studio.
