McDonalds and Elphin Recreation and Arts (MERA) is presenting an exciting series of lectures by well-known Canadian artists. Artists will be discussing the creative impulse shaping their work, both the subject and their choice of medium and materials. . Sunday, October 17th features Bill Reddick a porcelain artist and potter from Picton. He has exhibited his work across the U.S.and Canada, including the Gardiner Museum in Toronto. www.billreddick.com Lectures will take place in McMartin House in downtown Perth and begin at 2 pm. Admission is $5. An informal “meet the artist” session with light refreshments will follow.

'Gladstone Glayworks Pottery studio is looking for new members! Gladstone Clayworks is a fully equipped cooperative pottery studio, with multiple wheels, a slab roller, extruder, spray booth and two kilns, studio glazes and a full range of glaze materials. Access to the studio is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all for only $125 a month. Located in the heart of little Italy, in a building shared with many other artists, Gladstone Clayworks holds regular workshops, sales, exhibitions and classes.
